These notables in their own respective spaces are either Artists, Writers, Producers & Guitarists who either own, play or have had a Voyage Air on their tour bus. Regardless, they are not endorsers rather ones who know the value of the original folding guitar, Voyage Air.

Delbert McClinton: Triple-Grammy Award winning artist Delbert McClinton chalked up the 2006 Grammy for “Best Contemporary Blues Album”, and has been recording and on the music scene since the 60’s. He’s penned such hits as “Two More Bottles of Wine” for Emmylou Harris, and “B Movie Boxcar Blues” used on the Blues Brothers’ Briefcase Full of Blues album. Last August, he released his latest album Acquired Taste to rave reviews.

In recent years, Delbert has been organizing and hosting a series of ‘Blues Cruises’ – a week at sea on a luxury liner with a huge roster of Blues notables. “The fact that you can tuck it away is a pretty big deal” said Delbert of his new Voyage-Air dread. “It’s also a big deal to unlock it and have it play so well. This Voyage-Air Dreadnought, this is a really warm guitar. It’s got songs in it… I can feel it.”

Shawn Mayer is an emerging songstress from May City, Iowa. Known for her smoky, soulful country voice, she brings raw emotion to her edgy lyrics. Since she was 15 years old, Shawn has worked all kinds of jobs, ranging from a mechanic to tending pigs on a hog farm, just to make her way to Nashville. This striking black-haired, blue-eyed beauty traveled between Iowa and Nashville to play all of the honky tonks on the famed Broadway Avenue until moving to Music City permanently in 2006.

Her unmistakable vocals and keen talent for writing caught the attention of the producers of NBC’s reality series ‘Nashville Star.’ America agreed; Shawn was voted into the top three finalists on last year’s season, featuring celebrity judges Grammy nominee, John Rich, platinum artist, Jewel, and award-winning songwriter, Jeffrey Steele. After touring the United States and Canada with the Nashville Star Finalist Tour, Shawn continues to play shows across the country with recent stops in California, Texas, Idaho, Iowa and surrounding Midwest states. She recently signed an exclusive publishing deal with Savannah Music Group, Inc. in Nashville. Shawn is active supporter of the US Troops and our country’s Veterans and also serves as the National Spokesperson for the Watchful Eye Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Sioux City, Iowa, that promotes educational public awareness for the safety and protection of all children.

Conrad Korsch: Conrad Korsch has worked as a bassist and vocalist with some of the finest singers and songwriters in the music business: Rod Stewart (his steady gig for the past 7 years), Carly Simon, Christopher Cross, Rosanne Cash, Joan Osborne, Madeleine Peyroux, Carole King, Marc Cohn, Gavin DeGraw, Andrea Bocelli + Bette Midler, to name a few. “Live Love Leave” is his intimate and haunting debut album as a singer-songwriter, showcasing his abilites on lead vocals and a variety of musical instruments as well as his beautifully atypical string quartet arrangements. Combining the poetic storytelling elements of Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen with the passion of Jeff Buckley and Damien Rice, the album contains 13 songs drawing on the human experience which, while sometimes deeply personal, are rich with characters and metaphors, engaging listeners to either relate their own experiences or simply observe from afar.

Greg Kihn: Rocker turned Radio Host Greg Kihn began his career in his hometown of Baltimore, MD, working in the singer/songwriter mold, but switching to straightforward rock & roll when he moved to San Francisco in 1974. In 1976, after his debut on the compilation Beserkley Chartbusters, he recorded his first album with his own band, which consisted of Ronnie Dunbar (guitar), Steve Wright (bass), and Larry Lynch (drums). Through the ’70s, he released an album each year and built a strong cult following through constant touring, becoming Beserkley’s biggest seller.

In 1981, he earned his first bona fide hit with the Top 20 single, “The Breakup Song (They Don’t Write ‘Em),” from the “RocKihnRoll” album. He continued in a more commercial vein through the ’80s with a series of pun-titled albums: “Kihntinued” (1982), “Kihnspiracy” (1983), “Kihntageous” (1984), and “Citizen Kihn” (1985).

GK’s most recent project is the release of his latest book, “Carved in Rock,” a collection of short stories written by musicians such as Ray Manzarek (The Doors), Pete Townsend (The Who) and Joan Jett. Kihn is also the #1 rated morning drive time jock for Clear Channel’s KFOX station (San Jose/San Francisco).

Robin Kessinger: To say that Robin Kessinger is one of the country’s leading flatpick guitarists would be quite an understatement.

Everyone knows that he won the National Flatpicking Championship, in Winfield Kansas, but few know of all the State Flatpicking Championships he’s walked away with. And most of them multiple times! He holds titles in Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia, West Virginia, Best of Tri State (OH, KY & WV) and other contests too numerous to mention
