Pearl Seas Cruise

I was delighted to see your invitation to share the story of my travels with my Voyage Air model VAD-04.

My wife and I were on a small ship cruise with Pearl Seas in July 2018. The nightly entertainment was a very talented singer-songwriter on guitar and a keyboard accompanist. After the first night’s performance I approached him to talk about “guitars” and explained that I played guitar in a rock-n-roll band (I still do). He asked if I had a guitar with me to which I replied “I do” and he invited me to bring it with me the following evening and join them for the performance.  I did so with my model VAD and found that I knew nearly all of the songs on his set list.

Needless to say, I had a great time. We did the same thing the following night and then the keyboardist had to leave the cruise for a family emergency. Hence, I was part of the entertainment every evening for the rest of the trip.

In what you might call a repeat performance, I met this same singer-songwriter on another Pearl Seas cruise in September 2019. This time there was a vocalist with him and I joined them with my model VAD every night. Great fun!  Without using his name, the gentleman I was playing with is a former UK Singer-Songwriter of the Year.
