AJ Swearingen

A.J. has been writing, performing and producing his own style of acoustic music for the last twenty years.  His voice is rich and uniquely soulful and his contemporary songwriting clearly pays homage to the standout iconic folk-rock-pop artists of the past. “A Straight Line”, released in 2011, is AJ’s finest work to date. This new collection is a fresh yet familiar extension of AJ’s songwriting, production and musicianship. These songs will grab your heart in ways that only your favorite artist can. A.J.’s musical journey started in Bethlehem, PA and has expanded to a national / international following through performances and cd sales to Germany, Belgium, Japan and Spain.

A.J has also shared the stage with numerous recording artists including Livingston Taylor, Kenny Rogers, Jonathan Edwards, John Gorka, Dave Mason, and Tom Rush. As a songwriter, A.J.’s compositions have gained the attention of his peers.  In fact, Tom Rush’s latest release, “What I Know”, includes A.J.’s previously recorded, “You’re Not Here With Me”.

AJ Swearingen is a Voyage-Air guitar endorser. He now uses his VAOM-06 for all of his performances, all over the country.

AJ, Voyage-Air – on tour with Pop-Symphony Orchestras

A few years ago I started using Voyage-Air guitars on tour with Pop-Symphony Orchestras.

Our show is touring Nationally and Internationally with Pop’s conductor, Michael Krajewski.

It’s been a true honor to perform center stage with the Philly Pops, The Cleveland Orchestra, Atlanta, Houston, Toronto, Edmonton and many others.  It’s also a true testament to the sound of my Voyage-Air considering the quality, price and sound of these orchestral instruments on stage.

The Voyage-Air guitar is also my main instrument for performing with my original music partner Jayne Kelli. Our songwriting duo,“Swearingen & Kelli”, is touring venues and opera houses across the US. Below includes our song “Realize”, performed with my Voyage-Air.

Swearingen & Kelli’s self-titled debut album is the blending of AJ Swearingen and Jayne Kelli’s unique artistry.

Known for their rich and silky vocals, this folk-pop duo is a powerful songwriting union. They’ve been performing their signature sound in theaters and opera houses across the United States with a style that echoes the great songwriter’s of the past.

Folk icon Tom Rush recorded one of Swearingen’s tunes, “You’re Not Here With Me”, on his latest album. This song is also included on Swearingen & Kelli’s highly anticipated debut album.

Swearingen & Kelli deliver an undeniable chemistry with their unfiltered, from the heart songwriting and performing.
